6 Tips to Achieve Your New Year's Resolutions.
So another year has clicked over. Did you make any new year resolutions? Maybe to get healthy, lose weight, get fit, relax more, stress less, get organised. New year resolutions generally fail because we don't have a clear goal or an action plan of how to get there. Here's some strategies to help you achieve your goals.
1. Be clear about what you want to achieve.
"If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time!" Zig Ziglar
This quote holds so much powerful truth. If you say you want to get healthy, (and don't get me wrong, we'd love to hear you say that), what exactly does that mean? It will mean different things for different people. What exactly does it mean for you? Will you start walking, or will you be aiming to run a marathon? This is the first decision for you to make.
2. Be realistic.
If you've never done something before, be realistic about what you can achieve, with everything else going on in your life. Be realistic about your age, fitness, time demands for other things for example.
3. Be SMART with your goals.

4. Make a plan.

5. Get support.
Support gives you encouragement and also accountability, which are key to your success.

Write your goals and keep them where you can see them, to remind you and spur you on.
